About This Spot

Stepping into Priyas Palace, you’re welcomed by a warm, familiar hum—a space that balances the charm of a well-loved local spot with the gentle buzz of shared meals and soft laughter. It’s the kind of place where the pace slows down just enough to savor the small but meaningful moments, from the clink of glasses to the careful attention of the team navigating bustling tables with easy smiles.

This Indian restaurant at the heart of Greenock feels like a gathering haven, where the room fills with aromas that invite you to linger. The atmosphere blends an unpretentious comfort with a touch of tradition, creating a backdrop that’s as much about connection as it is about food. Whether it’s an intimate dinner or a friendly lunch, Priyas Palace offers a space where hospitality never feels distant or rushed.

On the plate, flavors unfold with generosity—fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully crafted, often coming with lively accompaniments that add unexpected layers. The experience here is as much about the abundant portions and the rich spices that warm the palate as it is about those human moments: the shared delight when a dish exceeds your expectations, the ease of a helpful suggestion from staff who seem genuinely invested in your visit.

What stands out is the genuine friendliness that colors each interaction, turning first-timers into regulars simply by making every guest feel like part of the story. Priyas Palace doesn’t chase trends; instead, it quietly holds its place as a steadfast eatery where familiarity breeds a sense of belonging—a spot that quietly rewards those who seek comfort in both plate and place.

We had a delicious meal with attentive but unintrusive service. Three of us shared four vegetarian dishes: palak paneer, tarka dal, Punjab chana, and dumplings in a hot and sweet sauce, with rice an roti. The flavours were rich and satisfying and we ate our fill. An excellent dining experience.

Honestly wonderful. The food was the best Indian food I've eaten. Service was friendly, drinks were cold and very well priced. Such a welcoming spotless venue, should be at 100% capacity for the food alone. My new go-to Greenock place to eat. Wish I'd found it sooner!

Still the best local curry house in my opinion. Some new openings locally are good but PP food edges it. Decor is getting a bit tired and toilets are always freezing but team are friendly and helpful. Selection of curries is wide and never been disappointed.

This place is absolutely incredible! Was in here with my friends today for lunch service and we had a blast. Lunch deals were 2 courses for 10-11 pounds and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the butter masala! Our starters came with complimentary poppadoms and a selection of chutneys. Our server was incredibly friendly and happy to help. Cannot sing his praises enough. During our mains we were also served a complimentary drink as refreshment and it was delicious. It tasted like lemon and ginger. Very nice. Included as part of the lunch deal we recieved coffee and tea which was the perfect way to help our meals settle before we left. Cannot recommend this place enough for a gals lunch or family meal. Just the right amount of spice and highly affordable. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience guys.

Far too good to be quiet, Ceylonese chicken curry was deliciously hot and the mushroom starter with mint raita was a sensation. Staff great, wine very competitively priced. Will come back when visiting the area again. Great meal

Good vibes only in priyas palace, adul who served us was lovely. Buffet was on when we went, things could have been a bit hotter but Lamb karahi n veg curry were very nice. Carpets were reminiscent of the sticky floors in an 02 academy but otherwise v good decor n atmosphere
